26 New Missionaries Arrive in September

Thankfully we arrived a few minutes early to the airport to meet our largest group of missionaries ever.  We saw this cute gal sitting and as we got closer we realized she was one of our missionaries who had come on another flight from the rest.  We were not informed that she would come separate by the MTC.  This is not the best introduction to the mission but she was happy to see us.  Sister Hayashi is a sweetheart.

What a great looking group even though they are all so tired after 24 hours of traveling.  We loaded ALL of their luggage (which was lots!!) and the missionaries onto a bus we rented to bring them to the honbu to sleep.

The next morning was full of training and then came
the hour to meet their trainers/companions.

The picture represents almost 1/2 of the missionaries in the mission. The mission is very "young" and every existing missionary has had to stretch themselves to become trainers
and leaders sooner than they felt ready.  They are up for the challenge!!
