Koriyama District Conference in March

This District Conference was presided over by Elder Aoyagi and his wife joined him.

A big BYO lunch after church was held for people to talk and enjoy socializing together.
The District Relief Society displayed crafts and artwork made by different
members of the district for all to enjoy.

Elder and Sister Aoyagi's son-in-law is President Matsumura, the District President.
This is little Teddy Matsumura, their grandson.

This spread of food was provided for us to eat.

The framed picture was stitched by Sister Maruyama. (on right)  One day while we visited her home, I commented on the picture and immediately she insisted I have it.  It hangs above the bed in the General Authority room in the mission home.  I brought it to display today so everyone could see it.

Sister Yaginuma is deaf and can't talk but relys on her husband or another sister in the Branch to sign for her during church.  She is a sweetheart and we are good friends.  She and her husband are raising two boys.  I found out how talented she is at quilting.

 Other crafts on display.

The District Relief Society President asked me to display my baby quilts.
Angie and Emily sent me two of their baby's quilts and the ladies loved them.
