Feb Transfers: Going Home Missionaries

After the interviews were finished and also the testimony meeting, we had our traditional sukiyaki dinner with the Assistants, Elder Juchau and Ohira and the two missionaries going home, Elder Narita and Elder Gannon.
Oishi !! (means: delicious)
Get those chopsticks ready!

Elder Gannon. He tried to finish his mission but some emotional problems that are no fault of his own won and he went home a year early.
Good luck and get well, Elder Gannon.
Elder Narita was Gary's Assistant when we arrived and was a big help to us in so many ways. We got him this tie that has BYU-H logo on the bottom when we were in Korea. He wants to go there to school so we made him speak in English all the time. He really did improve while he was an Assistant.

Sister Furukawa, our cook. We sure love her.

The next day at the airport saying goodby to Elder Gannon.
Elder Gannon was very anxious about the flight home. We prayed hard until he was home safe and sound.
Next was the Eki where Elder Narita left for his home near Tokyo.
President having a heart-to heart with his new Assistant trying to learn the "ropes".
Elder Narita's shoes--totally worn out. Guess it is time to go home.

Good by, Elder Narita. Stay in touch!
