6 New Missionaries Arrive

After 20 hours of traveling from the MTC in Provo, these tired but happy missionaries arrived in Sendai at the train station at 10:30 PM. The APs were there to greet them, too.

Back: Elders Nishida, Yoneda, Sister Kitade, Gary and me. Front: Sisters Chikamori, and Fukuda

Elder Carter came a week later than the rest because of a hearing problem he developed in the MTC. He came in about noon at the airport after spending the night in Tokyo. The APs were there to greet him.
