WE said goodby to our first 9 missionaries on July 7. They arrived at the Honbu the night before for their final interviews with their Mission President and we all enjoyed a Sukiyaki dinner together. For some of them, it was their first time to eat this traditional Japanese meal which was delicious. (prepared by my wonderful cook, Sis Furukawa) Even though we had only met these missionaries 10 days earlier, it tugged at our heart strings to say good by to them. We learned to love them all in a very short time.
